In certain clearly defined cases, I offer online therapy (video). Do not hesitate to contact me for more details.

General information: 

• Individual therapy sessions for children, teenagers and young adults
• Important: Sessions with young adults are only possible up to the age of 21 (and possibly beyond)
• Support discussions for parents, family, teachers, etc
• Advice for parents (these sessions are not covered by health insurance)
• Psychotherapeutic tests and diagnoses, behavioural observation, relaxation

Payment for sessions:

The sessions are covered by German public health insurance as well as private insurance funds. Remember to show your insurance card at your first session. The sessions can of course be paid for privately.

I offer services for the following psychological problems and disorders:

• Emotional difficulties
• Problems related to social behaviour
• Fears (associated with school, separations, bullying,...)
• Specific phobias (spiders, animals in general, closed places, travels, tunnels, public speaking,...)

• Autistic disorders (in case of an existing diagnosis only)

• Disorders connected with the COVID-19 pandemic
• Critical situations during the bachelor's degree and university studies

In addition I offer:

• Intelligence test (WISC-V) as part of a necessary comprehensive diagnostic assessment. The WISC-V is the most commonly used intelligence test worldwide for the age group of 6 to 16 years.
• Coaching/life coaching for teenagers et adults (self-pay patients)
• Training of social skills
• Training of relaxation

The practice:

My psychotherapy practice is located on the first floor. It can be accessed by a large lift which is suitable for people in wheelchairs. The office itself is also wheelchair accessible (toilet-use with accompanying person).

To avoid unnecessary waiting time, the session appointment is scheduled by phone.

Access and parking:

The practice is in close proximity to Heidelberg's central train station and is therefore easy to get to. See blue marker on the map at the bottom of this page.

• Access by train: direct connections from Neckargemünd, Ladenburg, Weinheim, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Leimen, Sandhausen, Wiesloch.
• Access by bus and tram: get off at Heidelberg central station (5 minutes walk).
• Access by car:

- Paid parking in Alte Eppelheimer Straße (directly in front of the practice).

- Paid parking lot, Alte Eppelheimer Straße 50. See "Parkplatz Landfried" on the map at the bottom of this page.

- Underground car park P18 ("Parkhaus P18 BG"). Entrance Karl-Metz-Straße 15.

Where to wait:

As my practice does not have a waiting room, you can wait for example at one of the restaurants in the main station very close by. There you can enjoy a coffee or read the newspaper in peace and quiet.
